I liked the detail during the trek to the Elf homeland as all the necessary camp chores are laid out but the language is very stilted and there are no secondary characters to allow the lead characters to develop. I kept waiting for a subplot to develop but one never did. It also needs some serious editingProduct details

Enjoyable, easy read.
slow moving, but held your interest, story could have been longer, I did enjoy it and will most likely purchase the continuation of the story when it is released in book two !
Nice tight tale moves along crisply. Good example of world building and enough hints to make you look forward to the next volume
Fairly unsophisticated writing with a weak story line. I kept waiting for some plot twist but the story just moved from point A to point B.
The human / elf angle was ripe for some message but was never exploited.
This is a first read from this author for me and I was surprise, not predictable, not so long winded, no dull moments. genuinely surprised at that and cannot wait to get in to the next book.
